Do I need sewing experience?

No. This series is designed for complete beginners and people with some experience alike. If you can commit to five sessions, you will leave with a finished pair of pants.

Do I have to attend all five sessions?

Yes. This is a series, not a drop-in class. Each session builds on the last. Missing a session puts you behind and affects the rest of the room. Attendance at all five is expected.

What if I miss a session?

Life happens. Reach out as soon as you know you will miss and we will do our best to get you caught up before the next class. Repeated absences may affect your ability to complete the series.

Question 4

What is the difference between the three ticket options?

Core gets you the instruction, your pattern, and studio access. You bring your own fabric and notions. Full Kit adds a curated reclaimed fabric kit, all notions, and a printed technique reference card. Studio Edition includes everything in Full Kit plus a private 30-minute fitting session, priority

What fabric should I bring if I registered for Core

Accepted Answer

You will need 2 to 3 yards of a woven fabric. Canvas, twill, and cotton are all great choices. Bring something you are excited to wear. We will talk more about fabric selection in session one.

Question 6

Can I use fabric I already own?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Reclaimed, thrifted, or stash fabric is encouraged and very much on brand.

Question 7

What tools do I need to bring?

Scissors or a rotary cutter, pins or clips, a measuring tape, a seam ripper, and an iron if you have one. A limited number of sewing machines are available, however you are encouraged to bring one/source one for yourself.  A full supply list will be sent after registration.

Is this series connected to ReThreads?

ReFresh and ReThreads are both One OAK programs but they serve different purposes.

Where is the class held?

Studio 50 Agnes, Providence RI. Full address and parking details will be included in your confirmation email.

Question 10

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the first session. After that, your registration may be transferred to a future cohort but cannot be refunded. No refunds after the series begins.
