If you are seeking web-based classes, please visit our statewide platform here:Web-Based Training'sChildcare is not provided during class times. Due to safety and liability reasons, please do not bring your children with you to class. In-person traingins may be cancelled if there are fewer than five participants enrolled. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and/or telephone. Instructor: Janna RightmireNevada Registry Approved:  2.0 HoursCKA:  Observation &amp; AssessmentIn this training, providers will conduct observations from videos and reflect on how the teachers could handle situations differently to support the individual growth of each child in the class. Providers will learn to recognize that findings in observation and assessment can assist in planning classroom curriculum.Training Objectives:1﻿. Participants will observe videos and reflect on situations discussing alternative ways of handing situation.2﻿. Participants will learn to recognize child cues to alternate curriculum as needed for individual success.3﻿. Participants will practice scenarios to learn ways of dealing with issues in the classrooms.Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
