The Rebuilding Exchange is excited to invite you to RE:fest, Chicago's premier summer street festival, where we're all about Reclaiming, Repairing, and Reusing for an eco-friendly extravaganza! Join neighbors around Chicago at our retail warehouse located at 1740 W. Webster Ave. on Saturday July 13 from 12 to 8 pm for activities centered around Reimagining our world and having fun, including live music, a kid play area, a local makers market, contests, & of course, Refreshments from some of Chicago’s favorite local vendors. For creators, for families, for pets, for everyone who loves sustainability, creativity, opportunity and fun. Suggested donation at door.


You can expect:

  • Refreshments - local craft beer tents and food trucks from your favorite Chicago vendors 
  • Retail shopping at a Rejuvenated outdoor market of artisans and makers
  • Kids Zone - play & Replay on inflatables and other games
  • Live music - Revel in the tunes of 3 local bands
  • 2nd annual REMake Invitational, where top makers and artists from around the region will show what they can do with $100 of reclaimed materials from our reuse retail store
  • Scraptacular ChallengeTM - Reclaim and Reimagine scraps in a fun competition
  • Opportunities to tour our facility and learn more about our programs and partnerships
  • & of course, a Relieve yourself station
