Conference Session Topics
- Jesus the Same: Against Heresies (James M. Renihan) How did our spiritual forefathers (and how do we) detect and reject dangerous errors related to the doctrine of Christ?
- Jesus the Same: As the “Only Begotten” Son (Matthew Y. Emerson) Does the Bible really teach what the Creed says, that “the Son is eternally begotten of the Father?” What do we lose if we miss Christ as the “only begotten” Son?
- Jesus the Same: In His True Divinity (James E. Dolezal) Dr. Dolezal shows why the incarnation subtracts nothing from the Son. He is no less God than before the incarnation. Hear why our whole salvation hinges on Christ’s true deity.
- Jesus the Same: In His True Humanity (James E. Dolezal) Dr. Dolezal shows why the incarnation adds nothing to the Son—and why our redemption hinges on Christ’s true humanity.
- Jesus the Same: In His Distinction of Natures (Jerry Jackson) What does Hebrews 5:8 mean (and not mean) when it says the Son “learned obedience” through his suffering? How does this amplify our hope and joy in Christ?
- Jesus the Same: In His Gospel Message (David Bane) Why could Paul sum up his entire ministry as “We preach Christ crucified” (1 Cor. 1:23)? How does this focus on the work of Christ deeply impact our churches and the whole Christian life?
- Jesus the Same: In His Saving Work (Dalton Summers) This will be a rich pastoral exposition of Mark 5:21-43.
- Q&A Session (Speaker Panel) Submit any question on the conference content, and hear in-depth discussion from the speaker panel.
