Learn about the experiences and  challenges faced by individuals re-entering society after incarceration.

Malone University, Johnson Center

This event will expose you to the experiences of individuals who are reentering society after incarceration. It is difficult to understand how having a criminal record creates overwhelming barriers that prevent access to many services and opportunities. This reentry simulation is designed to humbly reproduce some of what it&#x27;s like to reintegrate into community, find employment, find housing, get an education, and more after leaving prison or jail with the hope of inspiring employers, civic leaders, faith leaders, landlords, social workers, counselors, other helping professionals, and the general public to greater compassion and tangible action for advancing successful reintegration for every person. This event is co-hosted by Young Christian Professionals and Malone University&#x27;s Criminal and Restorative Justice Program. **Social Work and Counseling CEUs are available for this event for a small fee, provided by Malone University.
