RE/EMERGENCE is a post-apocalyptic performance that invites our community to examine grief, initiation, envisioning, and healing after a year of unprecedented upheaval. Looking to nature and its transformative powers, RE/EMERGENCE invites audiences to reflect, meditate, and nurture a new vision of the future.WHERE: Our performance will happen at Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton, MA. WHEN: We have three performances each evening, at 6:00pm, 6:50pm, and 7:40pm. Each performance lasts approximately 50 minutes. HOW IT WORKS: The performance asks audience members to walk through and around several fields to witness a series of short performances. There will be limited chairs stationed at each performance for anyone wishing to sit. The performance area is a ten-minute walk from the main parking area. Please see below for accessibility supports related to this. RAIN CANCELLATION: If we need to cancel a performance because of rain, we will contact you as soon as possible. We can either reschedule you for a different time in our performance schedule or refund your ticket if you wish. HOW TO PREPARE : This performance occurs outdoors in a field. The walking path for audiences will be mowed but still has some slightly uneven areas. We strongly encourage: --wearing close-toed shoes and long pants. --bringing bug spray (we will also have some available)--wearing face masks (we will have some available)COVID PRECAUTIONS: Our performance has been carefully designed to consider precautions around Covid-19. We will be performing in a physically distant staging and we will be supporting audiences to remain physically distant. Each audience group will include up to 40 people. Some of our performances invite audience members to write on paper as an option. We strongly encourage audience members who are not feeling well to avoid coming to the performance. BATHROOMS: There are bathroom facilities at the Park Hill Orchard stand near the main parking area. They are a ten-minute walk from the performance area so we encourage you to plan accordingly. Bathrooms are sanitized daily at the orchard. ACCESS NEEDS: We will have a limited amount of accessible parking available closer to the performance site. We will also have some chairs available at each site for those who need or wish to sit. The majority of the fields where we will perform are accessible for standard wheelchairs.
