Join <A HREF="https://www.gnomon.edu/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gnomon</A> on Thursday, October 27th, at 7:30 PM (PDT) for an introduction to production-ready rendering with <A HREF="https://www.redshift3d.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Redshift</A>, the GPU renderer used by thousands of creative professionals and studios worldwide. Naughty Dog’s <A HREF="https://www.artstation.com/artist/christophe-desse" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Christophe Desse</A> will discuss the methodology to quickly rendering a vehicle to achieve great results fast. Whether you’re a student, hobbyist, or professional artist working in 3D, be sure to attend for professional tips and tricks to help you utilize blend materials, <A HREF="https://www.allegorithmic.com/products/substance-painter" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Substance Painter</A>, and HDRI lighting in Redshift.

<H2>Guest Speaker</H2>
Christophe Desse Environment Artist, Naughty Dog
Christophe has worked as a special effects artist and modeler for advertising, TV, film, and games in France, Germany and Singapore. He is currently working at Naughty Dog in Santa Monica as an Environment Artist. He started tinkering with 3D software back in 1991, and is now experienced with most industry-standard packages. When he’s not working on industry-defining AAA titles (Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4), he enjoys creating stylized characters and super-charged muscle cars.

Free tickets do not guarantee entry; depending on the demand for the event, admittance will be offered to the first in line until we reach stage capacity.
 
<H2>Parking</H2>
Parking is usually available in surrounding and nearby streets. Please note that parking in the Television Center Complex will require parking fees. Unfortunately, Gnomon cannot validate parking tickets for the Television Center Complex. For alternative parking within walking distance, there is a parking lot situated at 1449 Ivar Avenue, CA 90028 (please note that hourly/daily fees will apply).
