Redhawk Squawk Podcast

The Kinesiology Department believes in the motto, ‘exercise for life, exercise for everyone’ and we work hard with our students to provide an evidence-based perspective to how sport and exercise science can improve one’s life. Our courses often incorporate assessments and activities that have our students applying their knowledge of theory to the greater Seattle community, and in ways that improve health and health promotion. Practical experience is a key element in all our programs, including300 hours of internship experience for our Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science,600 practical hours required for the clinical track of the Master of Science in Kinesiology, andData collection, analysis and interpretation conducted in lab and real-world settings for the research track of the Master of Science in KinesiologyOur Human Performance Lab is equipped with diverse resources where students can apply what they learn in class. The Mobile Equipment Laboratory will further expand our capabilities and offer students hands-on experiences in field research and community engagement.Learn more at our website.
