What: Red Day with Lighthouse Charities
Where: Rose Creek Farm - 3939 Bradley Road, Las Vegas NV
When: Thursday May 8th, 2025 from 7am to 11am
We will be working with Lighthouse Charities to help with the following tasks:- Re-stain wood structure pergola- Pulling plants that will not survive the summer heat and planting new plants- Painting barn exterior (small light blue barn in photo)- Artistic painting opportunity inside a shed where they do composting. Think fun & youthful design of little worms all over the interior walls of they shed house used to store the compost beds
Donations Needed:
Plants:- English Lavender (As many as possible)- Vinca (20 Flats, minimum)- Roses (As many as possible)
Tools:- Handheld gardening tools- Pointed Shovels- Rakes- Long handle hoes
Ben and Jerry'swill have their truck at the garden towards the end of our time there and will be giving out FREE ICE CREAMto all the volunteers!
