Imagine if you could make a notecard, gift tag, recipe card or gift for someone you love that would grow into delicious vegetables for them to eat. Seed paper takes reusing and recycling one step further to help create a whole new thing — a plant!

Families with children ages 5 and older are invited to attend. Take a little time to relax in our community garden and learn how to make seed paper that can be planted to grow your own vegetables, herbs and flowers.

<li>Tour of TAFB Learning Garden</li>
<li>A family-friendly discussion about what plants need to grow and thrive</li>
<li>Hands-on Activity: Make-your-own plantable seed paper</li>
<li>Giveaways: Take home seeds and seed paper to plant in your garden or give to a friend</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 11.9pt; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">Weather permitting, this event will take place outdoors. We suggest wearing layers of weather-appropriate clothing that you do not mind getting dirty and boots or athletic shoes.
