Burlington County Professionals - Bring your positive energy and an open mind May 29th!
Pinelands Recovery Center of Medford and Forge Health are cohosting a unique networking event to showcase some groundbreaking programs in New Jersey that are spearheading the epidemic of substance use and mental health treatment. Our focus is to emphasize the relation and importance of achieving and maintaining recovery in a professional space.
Retired Fire Chief Paul Drennan will be sharing his experience of working as a first responder in recovery. Chief Drennan has generated a peer support team in stations throughout the state to ensure safe, efficient help for our first responders.
Additionally, Forge's spiritual patient guide will offer their experience with patients as they progress in early recovery outside the 12-step curriculum. Forge staff will be here to discuss their programming at their 3 NJ locations, as well as a telehealth option. Pinelands Recovery Center will discuss their programming, and why inpatient care can be a necessary step for those seeking recovery.
We want this to be an engaging networking occasion for everyone. This field can be very heavy on us as professionals - please use this as a space of opportunity and interaction, as well as reflection. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
Light lunch and refreshments will be served. Please make Dawn or Cynthia aware of any dietary restrictions.
