Three experts on the topic of psychedelic-induced recovered memories present their perspectives

ONLINE EVENT

It is quite common, during psychedelic experiences, to recover traumatic early memories which you did not previously recall - even shocking memories of childhood abuse involving people close to you. But are such psychedelic-induced recovered memories true? How should people treat such material when / if it emerges? And how should therapists or guides relate to it?

Join us for this Psychedelic Safety Seminar run by the Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project , and featuring three experts on the topic:

  • Guy Simon, director of the Impulse Centre and lead author of a recent paper on resurfaced trauma during psychedelics
  • Samuli Kanganslampi, university lecturer at Tampere University and author of an upcoming paper on psychedelics and memory
  • Jim Hopper, teaching associate at Harvard University, MAPS trial therapist and an expert on child abuse

The event will be hosted by Jules Evans, director of the Challenging Psychedelic Experiences Project. Each speaker will speak for 10 minutes and then there will be an open discussion.
