Reconnect & Recharge: Tango Bootcamp with Silvana Brizuela-Weigel

Whether you’ve stepped away from tango for a while or are craving a deep dive to recharge your skills, this bootcamp is your gateway back to the dance floor! Designed for experienced dancers—not beginners—this two-day intensive focuses on technique, musicality, and improvisation to help you reintegrate confidently into the tango community.

? Who is this bootcamp for?

This bootcamp is designed for dancers with prior tango experience who are returning after a break or want to deepen their technique. It is not for absolute beginners.

? Do I need a partner?

No partner is needed. We’ll rotate during exercises and create a friendly, inclusive learning environment.

? What are the exact times each day?

Each day runs from 11 AM to 3 PM, with light snacks and water provided. Doors open at 10:45 AM for warm-up and check-in.

?Where is the event held?

At IM Gallery, Highland Park, NJ — an intimate studio space perfect for focused learning and practice

? Will food or drinks be provided?

Yes, we’ll provide snacks and water. You’re also welcome to bring your own light lunch for the midday break.

?️ Can I come for only one day?

This is a full weekend experience designed to build skills progressively. We recommend attending both days to get the most benefit.

? Is there a student discount?

Yes! Students with valid ID receive a discounted rate of $125 for the full bootcamp.

? How does the Bring-a-Friend bundle work?

Register two people together with the bundle option and pay $270 total ($135 each). Both names must be provided at registration.

? Will there be photos or videos taken?

Possibly! Let us know at check-in if you’d prefer not to be included in any media.

⏳ What's the refund policy?

We understand life happens! Full refunds are available up to May 10. After that, we can offer credit toward a future Jersey Tango event.

? Is parking available?

Yes! Free street parking is available near IM Gallery in Highland Park. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to find a good spot. There is also public parking available within a short walking distance if street parking is limited.
