Join Jennifer Phillips, MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist with the Center for Children and Youth, for Recognizing and Understanding Sensory Processing Differences in Your Child.

In this workshop, we will learn what a Sensory Profile is, how to begin to support your child's sensory processing development, and when it may be necessary to seek Occupational Therapy. Sensory processing differences in children can manifest in a myriad of ways from coordination trouble, difficulties with transitions, poor motor skills, difficulty with self-regulation, meltdowns in loud environments, sluggish or hyper behavior, or appearing to not hear you.

We will discuss the way the brain processes sensory information, simple strategies to support your child, and the next steps for parents.

Fee: $50.

Registration ends 30 minutes prior to the event, and the link for this workshop will be emailed at that time.

Please note, this workshop will NOT be recorded.
