What is MidTransitions? The non-profit made by rural Coloradans for rural Coloradans!

At MidTransitions, we recognize the unique challenges faced by individuals in rural areas of Colorado therefore we've created a non-profit visionary initiative aimed at narrowing the disparity between mere survival and genuine thriving among individuals residing in rural Colorado communities.

Our work is focused on providing holistic self-sustainability coaching, workshops, retreats, and community-building initiatives tailored to the specific needs of rural residents. We serve a dynamic demographic aged 25-65, comprising individuals with varied life journeys including those who have lived experience, grappled with systemic challenges, endured profound traumas, and confronted socio-economic disparities. Our clients are often navigating transitions from diverse systems of care, such as incarceration, youth continuum services, or recovery, and are seeking a path to greater independence and accountability. A significant portion of our clientele stems from low-income backgrounds while actively participating in the workforce, underscoring the imperative nature of our tailored support services both individually and for the vitality of our communities.

Our ultimate goal is to create a “thriving guide” of opportunities for rural Coloradans to move toward lives as awe-inspiring and holistically beautiful as the mountains that embrace their communities. We look forward to having you as a part of our community!
