Reception with Chuck Gatchell MPP '05 & Nurit Katz MPP/MBA '08

The UCLA Luskin School's Department of Public Policy invite you to join us for a fireside chat with Public Policy Alumnus of the Year, Chuck Gatchell MPP '05.

The UCLA Luskin Department of Public Policy will honor Chuck Gatchell MPP ’05 as alumnus of the year. Gatchell, based in Portland, Oregon, is Vice President of Nike Free (Running Footwear) where he leads the design, development, and product marketing functions for one of Nike’s largest businesses.

Gatchell will be in conversation with the 2015 Public Policy alumna of the year, Nurit Katz MPP/MBA '08, and share his experience, achievements, and ideas about sustainable business and innovation. With a passion for “thinking big, game-changing innovation, enabling and unleashing creativity, sustainability, purpose-driven organizations, and human potential,” Gatchell embodies the kind of leader that we are proud to have as part of the UCLA Luskin family.

He received his B.S. in Management from UC Berkeley where he also ran cross-country and track and then earned master ’s degrees in Accounting (MS) at University of Virginia, prior to his Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Gatchell is the first MPP alumnus to join and serve on the UCLA Luskin Board of Advisors.
