Viewpoints Gallery is thrilled to announce our July exhibition featuring stunning new pieces by jewelry artist Patricia Accorinti. Patricia’s latest collection of jewelry pieces reflects her passion for turning raw materials into gorgeous wearable art that reflects her deep connection to nature and art. Patricia’s unique pieces highlight her incredible creativity and her distinct ability to incorporate elements of nature into one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Patricia has been a maker for most of her life. During her career as a high school art teacher, she experimented with a number of different media including weaving, fabric design, photography, jewelry design and crafts. For the last 15 years, Patricia has dedicated her time to making jewelry, and her expertise and talent are evident in her gorgeous new collection. Patricia works with silver, gold, copper and bronze, as well as beautiful stones, which are always expertly highlighted by her exquisite designs. She draws inspiration for her jewelry from nature and the environment as well as art, architecture and ancient artifacts. Patricia describes her passion for creating, saying, “…as much as I love shiny metals, sparkly and colorful stones and interesting textures, I am mostly drawn to the process of turning raw materials into artful adornments that reflect my connection to nature and art around me.”

Patricia graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Arts Education and MLIS. She taught in San Jose and Cupertino high schools for 35 years before pursuing her passion for making jewelry. She is a member of the Monterey Bay Metal Art Guild and has exhibited her jewelry in the ZFolio Gallery in Monterey and at Pajaro Valley Arts in Watsonville. More information about Patricia’s work can be found on her website at accorintidesigns.com, on Instagram at @accorintidesigns or on Viewpoints Gallery’s website, viewpointsgallery.com.
