Our fourth annual Reasonable Minds Can Differ program features Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale University, and Thomas H. Dupree Jr., Partner at Gibson Dunn, will deliver insightful analysis of the most critical Supreme Court cases of the term.
The Supreme Court’s 2025-2026 term places the justices at the center of some of the most consequential constitutional questions in a generation. The cases on the docket span the breadth of constitutional law, including the scope of the Fourteenth Amendment’s guarantee of birthright citizenship, the limits of presidential authority to remove members of independent federal agencies, the reach of the Second Amendment in the wake of Bruen, and the constitutional boundaries on government seizure of private property. The decisions issued between now and June will shape American law for decades to come.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive a personally signed copy of Professor Amar's newest book, Born Equal: Remaking America's Constitution, 1840–1920, during the reception.
