R.E.A.L. Command Team Training

Army Community Service offers various services, to include volunteering, financial assistance to employment assistance.

Fort Carson Army Community Service (ACS)

The Readiness Essentials for Army Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Command Team training is targeted towards company commanders and first sergeants, but is also informative for brigade and battalion commanders and command sergeants major. This 2 hour course delineates the roles and responsibilities of the command team regarding how the to leverage the FRG to execute the Family Readiness mission. Topics include: Family Readiness, Mission Essential Tasks for FRGs, FRG Elements and Operations, Communications, Volunteer Management, FRG Funding, and Resources.
Also available on request for battalion or brigade NCOPDs or OPDs.
IMCOM intends the R.E.A.L. Foundations class as a pre-requisite to all R.E.A.L. classes.  ACS has scheduled the Foundations class immediately preceding this class.  Registration information can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/real-family-readiness-group-frg-foundations-training-tickets-31646484487
In the case of a two hour delay due to inclement weather, classes will begin no earlier than 0930.  If the roads on Fort Carson are closed, all classes scheduled for that day will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.
