Join us on May 6 at Port Orange Parks and Rec for Ready, Tech GO! — a screen time readiness and digital safety event created for parents and caregivers of elementary-aged children.
This engaging evening will feature expert insights on setting parental controls, navigating social media, and fostering healthy digital habits at home. Presenters include Mr. Mercer, Melissa Carr (Director of the ITS Department of Educational Technology), and digital safety officers from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department.
While parents attend the presentation, children in grades K–5 can enjoy supervised activities in the gymnasium, including a bounce house and a magic show by Jackie Manna.
Thanks to generous support from Publix, 4Imprint, and the National PTA, the event will include free food, goodie bags, and helpful resources for families. 25 laptops will also be given away. Click the link to see if you qualify https://www.human-i-t.org/ready-tech-go/
