This annual FREE event is back to celebrate the kickoff of Summer Discovery with the Anchorage Public Library!

Loussac Library

Reading Rendezvous is a FREE, community-sponsored event held on the grounds of Loussac Library, where local businesses and non-profit organizations come together to offer literacy-themed activities. In addition to dozens of activity booths, our celebration regularly includes musicians, storytelling, games, jugglers, and live animals! The Annual Reading Rendezvous will take place on Saturday, May16, from 12:00-4:00PM. This is the kick-off event of Summer Discovery (formerly Summer Reading), an exciting approach that encourages children and adults of all ages to continue learning throughout the summer.Come join us to sign up for Summer Discovery and do free activities with other organizational booths. Enjoy the entertainment and join in the fun! Food trucks will also be there in case anyone gets hungry.
