About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Specially trained dogs from K-PETs will be at the library to listen to children read aloud. Bring a book or two and read to a dog for 15 minutes. This program is intended for children who may be shy or reluctant to read aloud to practice reading independently. Recommended Ages, 6-12.

This program will take place inside or outside the children's library on the lower level. Please check-in at the Children's Desk first!

Please only register for ONE fifteen minute session per child. This is a very popular program and we want to give as many children as possible a chance to participate.

Additionally, please do your best to let us know if you will be unable to make it so that others may have the opportunity to join in your place. You can cancel your registration on your own through Eventbrite, call the library, or contact the organizer via email.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!
