Do I need to prove my registration in order to attend the performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Entrance and attendance is only permitted with proof of registration. The artist asks that you show your registration email to those assisting the artist upon arrival.

How many seats are available?

Accepted Answer

There are currently 43 seats for 8 tables in the restaurant with a few extra chairs to be added for the night (approx 50 seats in total). The rest is standing room.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

KOTE is unfortunately not readily wheelchair accessible, a few steps hindering ease of entrance. However, there are willing bodies in attendance that can aid access to the space if one wishes to attend.

Why has the artist included a content warning?

Accepted Answer

The artist is acutely conscious of and encourages personal power and autonomy, especially if that expression challenges the status quo. With a history of being harmed for simply having a body, being a woman, and pursuing her journey, she 'warns' to uphold care and consideration for others' autonomy.

Why do I need to register?

Accepted Answer

Given the content, bravery, and vulnerability of the evening, the artist desires to ensure that those in attendance have thoroughly acknowledged her creative intentions and will bolster a supportive evening. A waiver of sorts. Plus, space at KOTE is limited, so keen to attendees are prioritized.
