About the Reentry ECHO
Project ECHO ® is a movement that believes that knowledge is a social good that should be available to everyone–as opposed to monopolized within institutional and disciplinary silos. The Reentry ECHO is a community of practice created by the MCRC in partnership with Project ECHO ® to increase information and expertise among providers serving justice-impacted individuals at the state, regional, and national level. Each session, we invite a Brief Lecture presenter to share about their work to both learn about best practices and to push practice to achieve positive outcomes for justice-impacted individuals. The community of practice includes members from a broad range and disciplines; including community-building, education, employment, housing, justice policy, and social services.
Each Reentry ECHO session starts with welcome and introductions to foster community and connection, followed by a session overview from the facilitator, then a Brief Lecture on a topic of community interest, and lastly a Case Presentation. The Case Presentation is an opportunity for learners to present on an issue or challenge for peer support and recommendations.
