The Office of Youth and Young Adult Evangelization supports the mission of the Diocese of Boise by assisting the bishop and working collaboratively with clergy to create a culture where people have a transformational encounter with Jesus Christ and a desire to share that experience with others.

A RETREAT FOR YOUTH MINISTRY LEADERS Youth Minister registration open now until December 31st (only 32 spots available) Youth Ministry team leaders open January 1st (if there is space available)
Come join us as we gather as youth ministry leaders from the Diocese of Boise to encounter Our Lord again and be empowered by the Holy Spirit specifically for the work of evangelization.
This retreat will be held at the Monastery of the Ascension in Jerome, Idaho on August 3-5, 2018. Cost per participant is $35.
This event is open to all youth ministry leaders in the Diocese of Boise. Space is limited to 32 spots and will first be available to our youth ministers and then to members of their volunteer teams. (There may be offsite lodging options)
RETREAT LEADER: PATRICK REIS Patrick is the Coordinator of Encounter Ministries, a host of Encounter Radio, and Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at St. Patrick Church in Columbus, Ohio. He has a passion and drive to see Catholics empowered to walk in the power and love of the Holy Spirit and speaks at conferences around the country. He was recently featured in “Fearless” a documentary on the Holy Spirit and Evangelization.
This event is part of the Diocese of Boise’s Catholic Educator’s Conference. The goal of the (re)ENCOUNTER retreat is to 1) foster an encounter (re-encounter) with Jesus Christ among our ministry leaders and 2) to empower our ministry leaders for the work of evangelization in our diocese.
