A 90-minute workshop will allow you to explore concepts of randomness that Matt and his co-author Nick have discovered during the writing of Random: How to thrive in an uncertain world (Security Blend Books, 2026).
You'll hear stories of randomness from the worlds of maths, science, arts, politics and culture. You'll understand why we can be afraid of chance, and miss opportunities to grasp serendipity. And together, the group will work to find new ways to apply randomness to your working life.
The event will be hosted at Equal Experts, a five-minute walk from Farringdon Station in central London.
