Where do I submit my proof of purchase?

You will be prompted to select the retailer and add your confirmation or receipt number when registering here on Eventbrite. Please make to complete all questions on the registration form.

Question 2

I have a ticket for the author's tour. Can I join this event, too?

Accepted Answer

Yes! An event ticket counts as pre-ordering the book. When registering, please select Book Tour Event as your "retailer" and you can put your ticket number or order confirmation in as the receipt number. Please email pr@randomhouse.com if you have any questions.

Question 3

I am unable to join live. Will the event be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The event will be recorded and shared with ticket-holders following the event. Please note, you do need to register for the event in advance of the event in order to receive the recording.

Are captions available?

Yes! Closed captioning is available by clicking the CC button at the bottom of your Zoom or YouTube screen. Please email pr@randomhouse.com if you have any additional accessibility questions or concerns.

I don't want to have my camera/microphone on for the event. Can I join on YouTube instead?

Yes! If you would like to just watch and engage in the chat, we encourage to join the Event using the YouTube link. Once space runs out on Zoom, you will be automatically directed to YouTube.

Question 6

How can I participate on YouTube during the event?

Accepted Answer

YouTube is great if you just want to watch and do the journaling prompts. You will not have your camera or microphone on. You will still be able to interact via the chat!

Question 7

How can I participate on Zoom during the event?

Accepted Answer

If you would like your camera on, please join the Zoom Meeting for the event. You will be muted, but have opportunities to turn on your microphone to share your work. You can also chat with other participants in the chat or submit questions in the Q&A box.

Where is my ticket and link to the event?

Accepted Answer

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite. Please check your spam/junk mail if you do not see it. The Zoom link is in that email and will be in reminder emails before the event. You can also join by logging into Eventbrite using the same email you used to register.

Can I register for more than 1 ticket?

Yes! If you pre-ordered multiple copies, you can register for additional tickets. Please note, each ticket must provide a unique proof of purchase (i.e. if you are buying two tickets, you must provide two receipt numbers).

I have a question for the author. Where can I submit it?

You will have the opportunity to submit a question when registering for the event.

How do I use Zoom?

You will need access to a computer or other device capable of sufficiently accessing the Internet. We recommend downloading Zoom in advance and familiarizing yourself with the platform. You will receive the Zoom link for the event in your confirmation email and in reminder emails prior to the event.

Yes! We'd love to see you there. You can submit proof of purchase from retailer - U.S. based or otherwise. Please email pr@randomhouse.com if you have any questions.
