Rambax MIT is an ensemble dedicated to learning the art of sabar, a vibrant drum and dance tradition of the Wolof people of Senegal, West Africa. Come join us at MIT's brand new Edward and Joyce Linde Music Building and experience the magic of Senegalese drumming and dance!


The performance will take place (weather permitting) outside the Edward and Joyce Linde Music Buidling on d'Arbeloff Family Plaza (W18). Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, or to sit on the grass in the front of the building.

Rain Location: Tull Concert Hall (W18)


Seating Policy

Your registration through Eventbrite guarantees you a seat until 15 minutes before the event start time. 15 minutes before the concert start time, we will release open seats to the standby list. If you were not able to register through Eventbrite, you may join the physical standby line in the Kresge Auditorium Lobby up to one hour before the concert start time.

The Music and Theater Arts section provides students at MIT the opportunity to experience the unique language and process of the arts.
