About this event

  • 2 hours

On Saturday morning, come celebrate Pride and Shavuot at Rainbow Rockout with the Jewish community music of Tkiya. We’ll be taking over Brooklyn Brewery with songs, stories, bubbles, puppets, bagels, ice cream, and crafts. Plus, don’t miss out on our Pride-themed face-painting station! This program is perfect for kids ages 0-6 (siblings are welcome!)

Rainbow Rockout is presented as a part of Jewish Family Pride Brooklyn: a weekend of celebrations for Queer Jewish families and those who love them. Jewish Family Pride Brooklyn is produced by The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life, and is generously supported by UJA-Federation of New York.

About Our Partners:

Tkiya creates participatory music experiences that meet participants where they are – physically, psychologically, and spiritually – to find their unique connection to Jewish culture and community.

B’nai Brooklyn is an inclusive Jewish community in North Brooklyn for young families and people of all ages.

PJ Library sends free Jewish children's books to families across the world every month. We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children. PJ Library shares Jewish stories that can help your family talk together about values and traditions that are important to you.

The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life is an inclusive and welcoming community and cultural hub in Brooklyn. We produce programs to fill gaps, raise up underrepresented perspectives, and welcome the thousands of Brooklynites that have not yet found their Jewish connection point. We have created a welcoming space that reflects the spirit of Brooklyn–future-thinking and deeply historical, iconoclastic and sacred.

Organized by

The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life, is working to build a new model of community center designed to match the needs and spirit of the Jewish communities in Central and Northern Brooklyn.
