Are you curious about having a rain barrel for your home, church, or school? Are you interested in collecting and conserving free water?This hands-on GROW Center workshop will cover the benefits of harvested rainwater, the setup and steps to installing a successful rain barrel, and how to use the rainwater you harvest.All participants will receive a 55 gal blue barrel that measures 2' x 3' so please verify that your car can fit the barrel.Street parking is accessible along the 1200 block of Wicomico Street.If you register and are no longer able to attend, please email kaylah.abrams@baltimorecity.gov; 443-845-9615This workshop is in partnership with the University of Maryland Sea Grant Extension.
