The CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Cadre at Solera  Oak Valley Greens was implemented and is managed under the leadership of the City of Beaumont, Police Department's Office of Emergency Services. CERT is the federally and nationally most recognized name for progressively minded disaster preparation volunteers. CERT volunteers living within the Solera at Oak Valley Greens community are trained by the County of Riverside Emergency Management Department (EMD), California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire), and other certified volunteer community trainers. CERT volunteers have received 20 hours of free life-saving training, plus attend disaster drills on a regular basis. Upon completion of the Basic CERT training and drill, volunteers graduate with a certificate, a vest, and a hard hat imprinted with the CERT logo.
