About this event

Combahee River Collective member Demita Frazier's keynote address kicks off the Women and Gender Studies Program's yearlong programming around the theme of "suff/e/rage," in which the program will investigate how to channel anger into productive change, as well as Global Learning and Strategies' International Education Week events. Public intellectual and advocate Frazier's speech will address how to build coalitions around issues such as reproductive rights advocacy in locations, nationally and globally, where those protections are being eroded.
