Welcome to the Orlando Innovation League!You might have known us as Lean Startup Orlando - but innovation is #NotJustAboutStartups - it's about innovation methodology across all business domains.We are an ambitious group of startup founders, enterprise leaders, investors, mentors, entrepreneurial enthusiasts, product developers, and innovation leaders. Our Meetup group serves the Central Florida community as a platform to share experiences, learnings, questions and thoughts about innovation."The Lean Startup" by Eric Reis is a book that deeply inspired us but it applies to all kinds of organizations and our topics go beyond it to modern innovation methodology including Design Thinking, Agile, Data-driven decision making and includes thought leadership from Alex Osterwalder, Steve Blank, Ash Maurya, Pete Diamandis, and others. Our presenters and guest speakers represent the startup community, non-profits and social enterprises, and large enterprise - and together - our goal is to make innovation accessible to EVERYONE.We curate speakers from the Orlando community, and oftentimes, we will feature guest speakers from Silicon Valley and other entrepreneurial ecosystems.For a group that truly is a mix of people engaged in innovation from varied backgrounds - join us for our next event!

Credo Conduit

J﻿oin us on October 10 at Credo Conduit for the Orlando Innovation League's semi-annual quick pitch! This event is hosted in collaboration with StarterStudio as a pre-event for Startup Weekend Orlando.Questions about Startup Weekend Orlando or interested in getting signed up? Head to StartupWeekendOrlando.com!Dinner and networking will kick off at 6 pm followed by 3-4 pitches from real Orlando startup hopefuls. Judges hail from investor and startup backgrounds, with real-life experience and the expertise to give you the best chance at preparing to pitch in the future! <h1>M﻿eet the startups!</h1>First up, SCOUTZ! SCOUTZ, a dynamic mobile app, serves as a thriving platform that connects athletes and coaches, streamlining the recruitment journey for college opportunities and professional teams. Since its inception in 2021, SCOUTZ has been instrumental in allowing athletes to showcase their skills while providing coaches with an efficient means to search the extensive database and seamlessly connect with exceptional talent.Next, Roll&amp;Glow. The Roll&amp;Glow will cut the time it takes to style your hair and allow you to move around while your hair is getting styled. Almost every time you do your hair, you have to stand or sit in one place for a long time. With the Roll&amp;Glow, that will be a problem of the past.Last but not least, DeTask. DeTask aims to solve the problem of project failures by focusing on efficiency. Executives (56%) often feel that they lack the right incentives to retain employees. DeTask is a blockchain-based platform that manages efficiency and direct pay services providers globally. Our approach is unique in that we prioritize value over working hours, aiming to enhance efficiency in companies.

Previously, she held leadership roles in strategic planning, digital transformation, and capacity building at companies including AAA, Accesso Technology Group, Citrix, and Euromonitor International.Expertise: Strategic Planning, Leadership Development, Conflict Negotiation, Stakeholder Collaboration, Product Strategy and Operations, R&amp;D Strategy, Scenario Forecasting, Product Management, Agile Principles and Environments, Design Thinking, Change Management, Program Development, Digital Transformation, User Research, Customer Experience Mapping, Enterprise Communications, Social Media, Crisis Response, Grant Development.

<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/sethadam1/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Adam Scheinberg</a> is the Vice President of Information Technology for Massey Services. Since 2003, he has overseen technology strategy for Massey Services, guiding the transition from a regional player to an enterprise organization with a national presence.A graduate of James Madison University, Adam is a certified Project Management Professional. He has been recognized as Massey’s Corporate Team Member of the Year, one of the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, one of Orlando Family Magazine’s “2020 Supermen”, and, most recently, was named “One to Watch” in Orlando Business Journal’s “50 Most Powerful in Orlando.”Adam is also passionate about Orlando and is active in the Central Florida community. He serves as a board member and Past Chair of the Orlando Family Stage. His interest in furthering the technology community led him to help create and serve as the inaugural Chair of the Orlando Tech Community. Recently, as Chair of Class 103 of Leadership Orlando, Adam led nearly 100 local business leaders and entrepreneurs through an eight-month leadership and innovation experience. Adam is a strong proponent of the arts and arts education, and serves as a board member and Past President of The Mockingbird Foundation, an all-volunteer non-profit organization that supports music and arts education for children. He lives in Winter Park with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Jillian, 15, and Jack, 13.

Ms. Carol Ann Dykes Logue is Co-Founder and Director of the Central Florida Tech Grove which is a unique virtual and physical collaboration space established through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the UCF Research Foundation and the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. Additional PIA members and funders are the simulation &amp; training acquisition commands of the Army (PEO STRI, STTC) and Army Futures Command (STE CFT), Air Force (AFAMS), Marine Corps (PM TRASYS) and Space Force as well as the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.Ms. Logue also serves as Director of the University of Central Florida eight-site Business Incubation Program and Innovation Districts. Four incubators are located in the three UCF Innovation Districts anchored around UCF campuses focusing on early-stage companies in specific clusters of technology and industry that are key drivers of Central Florida’s economy. Four others are located in other areas of Metro Orlando serving a wide range of fast-growing companies.Prior to joining UCF, she was a member of the University of Florida faculty serving as Associate Director for the Southern Technology Applications Center supporting NASA and other federal laboratories and universities across nine southeastern states in their technology commercialization activities as well as the companies commercializing the federally-funded technologies. She has served as Vice President of Information Services for Technology Strategic Planning Inc. (a spinout from the Defense Intelligence Agency) providing global competitive technology analysis for Fortune 50 clients, and as an Information Specialist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.Carol Ann serves as the UCF representative on the Orlando Tech Community, Synapse Florida Advisory Board, and Athena Orlando Powerlink Program Board. She represents UCF on the Boards of Team Orlando, NDIA Central Florida Chapter, VRARA Central Florida and the Florida Photonics Cluster. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Central Florida STEM Education Council.She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Biology and from Louisiana State University with a MS in Library and Information Science.
