A free queer posada with food, chosen family, and a place to kick it, all in the heart of the Castro. It's all for love of community.

CHRISTMAS DAY UPDATE:<ul><li>RSVPs are closed; if you got an RSVP, we got food for you (show up early while the food is hot n fresh) — without an RSVP we cannot guarantee food for you</li><li>Any food left at 4pm will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone at the spot (RSVP or not)</li><li>Hera Wynn is serving 2-for-1 Happy Hour drinks starting at 2pm</li><li>If you want to come by just to have a drink and chill with us (without an RSVP, or without a plate), by all means come through</li><li>We'll probably clean up sometime between 6pm-7pm to give Beaux a chance to prepare for their nighttime programming</li></ul> ORIGINAL EVENT DETAILS BELOW:Let's kick it, family!Happening on December 25th from 2-5pm at Beaux in the Castro, a FREE Queer Posada — The Queersada — with food, chosen family vibes, and a space for community.Here are the details:<ul><li>We are grateful to our chef, Azuah — a queer Salvadoran from the Bay — who is prepping chicken pozole and pan con pavo for all of our guests</li><li>Please feel free to bring any dessert you want to share with others</li><li>The regular bar will be open (cash or credit accepted) and staffed by a very special even bartender, the amazing Hera Wynn!</li><li>One RSVP per person, so if you have a group, each person must RSVP</li></ul>Just like we did in Oakland for our November 27th Friendsgiving at Night Heron (in collaboration with Good VBZ), we are hosting a free space to make sure everyone has a place to go for the holidays. We know this time of year can be hard for queer folks, so we've been doing holiday gatherings on Thanksgiving and Xmas for 4 years in a row. We’ve been doing this since 2022, and we are thrilled to bring it to the Castro in 2025.We are grateful to the team at Beaux for collaborating with us on this very special, very meaningful community event.
