This is a bi-weekly hybrid (in-person & online) queer creative space organized by Elder Akewi, Stephen Stratton & Jan Bindas-Tenney. We’ll read, write and create together through poetry, essays, and other forms to queer our relationship to our environments, to our bodies, to ourselves, to each other. We’ll define and push against white supremacist, binary & violent frameworks that seek to control, tame, name and lean into our queer resistance, resilience and nuance. We’ll write our unruly bodies in the land. We’ll write interspecies romance. We’ll explore the ways our queerness can be mirrored back to us. We will chart and dream our collective survival.
