This workshop weaves together dialogue, breath work, and vinyasa flow to deepen the connection between the body and the self through the lens of queerness. For many, our bodies have been sites of scrutiny, shame, or survival, thereby impacting how we understand and interact with ourselves. This practice will focus on vulnerability and returning to the self — not to fix or perform, but to simply be in the body that you have and embrace it while sharing community with those around you.
We’ll move through a full vinyasa sequence guided by themes of visibility, strength, softness, and belonging. Breathwork will open the class as a way of grounding and arriving, and poses will be offered with options so that your practice can meet you exactly where you are. Everyone is welcomed. You do not need to be an experienced yogi. You do not need to be out, certain, or have the language for who you are as you are welcomed in whatever stage of self-discovery you’re in.
