Queer Square Dancing

Calling all LGBTQ+ New Yorkers with moxie and a hankering for fun! Brought to you by The Magical Matchmaker

Join The Magical Matchmaker, NYC's own queer matchmaking service, for a night of inclusive fun, community building, and a little two-steppin' action!  Whether you're a seasoned hoedown hero or have two left feet (yeehaw, we've all been there!), this shindig is all about celebrating our vibrant city and making new connections.

Here's what you can expect:

• Wrangle in Some Square Dance Skills! A friendly caller will guide you through the basics of modern square dancing, no partner required.
• Show Off Your Fancy Footwork! Put your newfound moves to the test with multiple rounds of square dancing merriment.
• Country Groovin' with Queen Bey! We'll wrap up the night with line dancing to the iconic beats of Beyonce's country remixes.

Please note: This is a non-singles event, focused on fostering a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community. There's a two-drink minimum at the bar to support the venue.

Dress Code: Channel your inner Dolly Parton or just come as you are! We're all about celebrating individuality and having a blast on the dance floor.

No experience necessary! Just bring your positive vibes and get ready to have a rootin' tootin' good time!
