About this event

Queer Quality Dating (QQD) is Baltimore's original speed dating series to match folx of all 2SLGBTQIA+ sexualities and gender expressions in the Baltimore/DMV area who value community. Once you buy your ticket, Maria will email you a link to her match-making questionnaire as part of this dating process. Trust your gut. Put yourself out there. Get cute and social justice-y over cruelty-free food. Mocktails and Cocktails available! Suggested ages18-61+. Registration closes May 18th. Follow @Maria_Studios on IG for the next QQD event near you!

Below are the ground rules to participate in QQD:

1) Any racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, or ableist behavior will not be tolerated and person will be banned.

2) Participants are open and ready to date --in person-- if they match! Do not come if you are sick. If you feel ill, please contact event organizer via email at maria@artofsolidarity.org to reschedule for next event.

3) All daters complete a questionnaire designed by Maria. Check your spam folder! You will receive email reminders regularly.

4) Daters are respectful and open-minded. If you're not feeling someone, maybe say "I'm feeling friendship" for example.

5) Be on time. Once dating rounds start, remain seated and listen to instructions. Based on how your questionnaire answers, you will be assigned and color-coordinated to rotate or stay put after each round of dating. If you're late, you will miss a potential match. Who wants that?!

6) Cellphones off! Be present. Be yourself.

7) After each date, a questionnaire is completed per person with a "yes," "no" or "maybe" and section for brief notes/questions. You will receive a phone call from Maria with the name(s) and phone number of your match(es)!

8) When you receive a phone call, you will be asked for permission to share your phone number with your match.

9) Go on a date with your match! Have fun!

10) Spread the word. The more queers participating, the more potential matches.

11) It is not guaranteed that any matches or dates will occur unless we have enough folx.

12) No refunds y'all. You may transfer your ticket to next event if you need to reschedule. As a courtesy, email Maria at maria@artofsolidarity.org with a 2-day notice.
