In Celebration, Health Goth Yoga is hosting a Queer Punk Pride Flow at the Upstairs at Bow Market. This will be an all levels flow to fundraise money for the Trevor Project. The class will incorporate movement with variations for new and seasoned practitioners. In honor of punk queer musicians, the class will be set to a curated playlist of punk and alternative bands like Sleater-Kinney, Laura Jane Grace and more!

Sliding Scale Suggested Donations $15-$25
No one turned away due to financial constraints.

100% of the profit goes to Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people. Trevor Project provides information & support to LGBTQ+ young people 24/7, all year round.

Who is this for?

This class is for LGBTQ+ community, as well as supportive allies. We encourage all gender and sexual identities, all body types, ethnicities, subcultures and really everybody. Everyone even if you've never done yoga before! We ask that you have an open mind and listen to your body! Please contact your doctor before you begin any workout/yoga routine, especially if you are recovering from an injury, an illness, or you are pregnant.

What to expect?

This will be an hour long vinyasa flow class. Expect to start slow with a strong foundation of the practice and build into a breath to movement flow that can be adapted for brand new beginners and experienced practioners alike. You'll stretch, you'll sweat and you'll relax. This class will be set to punk music featuring queer musicians.

Organized by

Crystal Rose is latina punk who has been practicing yoga and meditation for 15 years. Like most, she came to yoga for the physical benefits, but continued for the emotional and mental benefits. Yoga allowed her to breath deeper, reduce anxiety and increase her focus, both on the mat and in life. She has a passion for Ayurvedic Self Care and all things Lunar.

She's all about making yoga acessible to POC and Alternative Folks who may be scared away from trying it because they don’t fit the stereotypical mold for a yoga practitioner. Her classes are intentional and powerful, but open to all-levels. Come practice yoga, breathe deeply & find peace of mind.
