About Keep Colorado Springs Queer: Keep Colorado Springs Queer was founded in 2016 by Nico Wilkinson and Han Sayles, originating at Mountain Fold Books. The event serves as a celebration of Colorado Springs queer art and culture, featuring talented performers from the local community and beyond. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, we welcome performers of all genders, sexualities, and identities to attend, though the stage is for LGBTQIA2+ voices. The event is now hosted by Nico Wilkinson and Corri Mercy.

About PPAC: Established in 1968, PPAC believes in the power of artistic expression to inspire and unite. Whether you're an artist, enthusiast, or someone curious about the arts, you'll find a welcoming community through PPAC. Explore their programs, connect with fellow creatives, and join them in creating a thriving arts landscape that enriches the lives of all.

Keep COS Queer Covid Statement: In alignment with disability justice advocacy, we ask that attendees wear masks so those in our community who are at-risk or immunocompromised can safely attend. Masks can be removed when speaking at the mic. Due to the open nature of this gallery space, in which people will be coming in and out, we can't guarantee that everyone will be masking, but we can reduce the risk for our community by masking together.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or just looking to enjoy some amazing art, the Queer Open Mic is the place to be for this special Pride First Friday event!

See you there!
