Queer Karaoke at Tallboys!

Join us for FREE queer karaoke the first and third Thursday of each and every month, from 10 pm til late in the Tallboys downstairs theatre space!

What makes it queer karaoke?

1. it follows Tea4Tea (an all trans and nonbinary comedy show with immaculate vibes)
2. it is hosted by 2 queer comedians who are determined to make the girls, gays, and theys feel comfy and included
3. you queer cuties are going to come out and sing? right??? 🥺

All welcome except meanies and 'phobes! Even Disney Gays are welcome!

Tallboys is a super intimate venue so you are guaranteed to get lots of stage time in! No hours-long wait to sing!

Delicous food available until 10 pm, and alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages available all night!

The venue:

• Karaoke takes place in the theatre space in the downstairs area of Tallboys. Take a left when you walk in and head downstairs!
• The venue unfortunately has a few barriers to access. There is a large step to enter the main bar area. The theatre space and washrooms are located down a staircase, with tight corners from the bottom landing to the theatre. There is also a single step from the basement hallway into the venue room. Once inside, there is no grade change.
• There is an unmarked, gender neutral washroom with a toilet between the 'mens' and 'women's' washrooms.

Community:

• All are welcome at this event, including allies, that recognize this is a queer space where we are inclusive and respectful of one another, and where oppressive behaviour won't fly! Basically just don't be a dick, a creep, or a 'phobe.
• Karaoke will be fun filled and full of friendly queers. The whole idea is to be in community and make new queer friends! If you are flying solo, are nervous, or have any questions, feel free to DM the host @annasebastiencomedy on Instagram.
• If you are feeling sick, please stay home! You are totally welcome to wear a mask, and we'd be stoked if you rapid tested before hand!
