Do your inner-work, in community. This circle is for 2SLGBTQ+ people in Austin to share, process, learn, and grow.

Sanctuary Studio & Loft

What it is: healing circles are a practice rooted in indigenous culture. They celebrate our interdependence - a space to lean on each other and be committed to your own healing as well as others. In this space, we are encouraged to tell our stories and listen deeply to the stories of others. This practice of courageous dialogue helps lead to transformed community.This healing circle is open to anyone who identifies as queer or 2SLGBTQ+ and is looking for a supportive community to process their feelings, challenges, and experiences.This is a chance to have a supportive space to talk through changes, obstacles, and how to move into a stronger, more centered version of yourself.This healing circle will be led by Bethny G Brown, LPC, founder and therapist at Nemi. She will acting as a facilitator and guide for the hour, but not in capacity as a therapist. We sit in a circle to honor and symbolize the equality and strength of all, and we believe we are ALL experts here in this space.Who it&#x27;s for: anyone looking for a space in community to explore and process what it means express self-love, particularly as a queer person in Texas right now. We could all use a little extra love in AND from community this year.All profits from this queer healing circle will go towards supporting the Queertopia shelter, an important organization that supports the needs of queer individuals in our community. We believe that healing is a communal effort and that we can all benefit from coming together to support each other.We will help create a cozy atmosphere by lighting candles and having tea available. Please bring your own mug, as well as a journal and pen. Dress comfy!If you have any accessibility needs, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
