Queer Community Pod Mapping Workshop
Come hang out and learn how to map your community connections in a fun, relaxed workshop setting!
Two Peas in a Pod is a Queer guided community mapping workshop exploring how we define, build, and sustain support systems in our lives.
Inspired by transformative justice frameworks, this session invites participants to reflect on the people, spaces, and resources that make up their “pod” — the networks of care we rely on in times of need and growth.
In this workshop we will:
• map out our personal support systems
• explore what community means to us
• learn about pods and how they function
• share resources and information for support
• engage in gentle discussion and reflection
This gathering encourages honesty, clarity, and intention in how we show up for others and how we allow ourselves to be supported.
No prior knowledge needed — just openness and curiosity.
⏰ Please note: The workshop begins at 2:45pm. Late attendees are absolutely welcome, and we will do our best to gently catch you up when you arrive.
- This event centers the Black queer diaspora. Allies are welcome if respectful of the space
- No racism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, misogyny, ableism, or Zionism.
- Respect confidentiality — stories shared in the space stay in the space.
- Be mindful of others and participate with care.
- Hosts reserve the right to remove anyone disrupting the safety of the space.
Upcoming gatherings include:
April 12 — Give More, Take Less: Bracelet Making
A craft-based exchange exploring generosity and reciprocity through intentional bracelet making.
April 19 — Queer Drop-In: Chat & Craft + Collective Prompt Board
A low-pressure evening of crafting, games, and open conversation.
April 26 — Paper Portraits: Seeing & Being Seen
A creative session exploring visibility through portrait-making.
