For Ages 18+ In this class, we will discuss how collage perverts the social, political, and cultural specificity of images, and how collage, as a practice, negotiates the public and the private. We will have conversations about how collage has been used by queer and feminist artists. These conversations will serve as the backdrop for students to explore and create their own collages. Recommended supply lists will be reviewed and distributed in the first class meeting.
