About this event
A special one-off Queer Code art and craft session, organised as part of the Leeds Fun Weekend. Come along to just this event, or the whole weekend!
Bring along your personal projects, your ideas, even your homework. We’ll be providing a space to work in, free wifi, and like-minded people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off. As well as crafting, there will be plenty of time to meet other queer developers.
Feel free to bring your own crafting, but we will also provide crochet and knitting materials and lessons as well as paper, pencils, felt-tips, stickers, scissors, glue, etc. Both children and adults are welcome (all children must be accompanied by an adult; adults do not need to be accompanied by a child). There’s no fixed agenda for this event. Please feel free to arrive and leave at any time, we have the room until 4.30pm.
Queer Code Yorkshire are a group of queer programmers who wish to write code within a supportive environment. We run talks and workshops. Come along and work on your personal projects, and also meet like-minded people.
Leeds Fun Weekend is organised solely by a small team of volunteers with the aim of showing people some of the things that are great about living in a specific place. Anyone is welcome to come along.
Registration is optional, but lets us contact you about the event should we need to for any reason.
