Join us for the inaugural Queen Bean Comedy Showcase, a night of featured stand-up comedy highlighting some of the Central Valley’s most talented rising comedians. Headlined by the hilarious Cookie Williams, this showcase brings together sharp storytellers, quick-witted performers, and crowd favorites for an evening packed with laughs.

Featured comedians include Marcian Evans, Gabe Alexander, and Zani Salvatore, each bringing their own unique voice and style to the stage.

Whether you’re a longtime comedy fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends, the Queen Bean provides the perfect intimate setting to experience live comedy up close. Grab a coffee, a beer, a glass of wine, and settle in for an evening of big laughs in one of Modesto’s most beloved backyard spaces.

FEATURED COMEDIANS:

Gabriel Alexander is an up-and-coming comedian from the Central Valley. His home club is Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club in Sacramento, CA, where he produces his own show called The Broken Home Showcase. He is also the grand prize winner of the 2024 American Laughfitti Comedy Competition. He has a very energetic and clever delivery, with a comedic style that has been described as “Adult Storytelling.”

Marcian Evans is a stand-up comic from Sacramento, California. His experience as a lifelong student of movies, music, and history brings a unique perspective to his comedy. Grateful to have found an outlet that allows him to express himself and showcase his creativity, Marcian uses the stage to let his personality shine. He has a deep love for comedy and takes joy in crafting material that brings light and laughter to audiences everywhere.

HEADLINER: Kimberly "Cookie" Williams

No matter the room, Cookie Williams is able to bring her relatable laughter and have the crowd rocking. Winner of the 2026 MAMA Awards, featured at your favorite comedy clubs, and recently featured in Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Jam, you’re gonna need your sunglasses to follow her bright journey in comedy.
