Quechua Foreigner Language Class

The Global Language Network (GLN) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is toprovide opportunities to learn any language at a minimal cost.We recruit and train native speakers who volunteer their time to teach their language and share their culture with the DC community. Thus, we offer affordable language classes in more than 60 languages to the community.We create a comfortable environment where teachers and learners are both eager to connect, share, grow. We use a communicative approach which means our focus is on building learners' communicative competence or the ability to communicate effectively and in culturally appropriate ways. We work with a variety of partner organizations who host our classes. This model, together with our volunteer teachers, makes it possible to offer our services at an affordable cost for everyone and to promote languages not otherwise offered.
