Hosted by Peter Rohde, we will introduce the differences between classical and quantum computers, and discuss quantum cryptography.

<p>In this session, we will introduce the fundamental differences between classical and quantum computers. We will then dive into quantum computing and its promise to create uncrackable encryption alongside other applications. This is an interactive workshop so you have the ability to get involved, too! It&#x27;s open to people of all ages and skill levels–there are no prerequisites to this workshop.</p><p>It will be hosted by Peter Rohde. Peter Rohde is a Senior Lecturer and Future Fellow of the Australian Research Council at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. Peter conducts research in quantum computing, quantum optics, quantum information theory, and quantum cryptography.</p>
