<P>The interdisciplinary science of quantum computation has seen rapid development over the last 25 years, encouraged by fundamental progress in computer science, mathematics and physics.  Several disparate computation schemes have emerged, including the quantum circuit model, topological quantum computers and quantum annealing machines, contributing to the astonishing breadth of research disciplines with applications to quantum information science.</P>
<P><SPAN>This workshop will bring together researchers in this quantum information science from physics, computer science and mathematics to provide an overview of the field to interested scientists, discuss the current state of the science, and inspire the next generation of researchers to pursue this topic.  The lectures will include one introductory lecture on major themes per day, followed by more technical presentations of the most current directions.</SPAN></P>
