The workshop will focus on the purpose and utility of qualitative methods for sustainability projects. It will cover two methods for gaining qualitative information, the participant observation method and the semi-structured interview method. The workshop will also cover useful academic resources using common search engines. During the workshop students will have the opportunity to try out these three practices and will gain feedback in real time.


The workshop will tak place on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 1:00-5:00 PM in Uris Hall 307.
